A Long Summer~

Posted by Lenners on January 17th, 2007

Hey guys! I haven’t updated in a while now, mostly because of my laziness and the need to manage a couple other websites my friend left behind T____T

I’m not sure what to do from now on, but I’ll think about it ^____^ I was thinking of reviewing manga and some not-so-current anime series :o

Be back soon!

PS: About Bitter Virgin chapters, it’s best to search Japanese Share programs such as Winny. Type in/copy and paste the Japanese name into the search function and I’m sure you’ll find some untranslated raws.

Fate Stay Night: Saber Figure

Posted by Lenners on August 3rd, 2006

While I was searching for TRC volume 05 as a present for a friend (it’s surprisingly sold out everywhere), I came across a Fate Stay Night figure. I almost screamed for joy, until I noticed the price. Marked down from CDN$85.00, it was now $69.00.

So now, I weep in horror. Was buying figures always so expensive? I can only stare at it in longing. The figure is of Saber in a white bikini with a slight blush on her face. It looks almost like her too, very unlike the hideous Rin/Archer set I also found in the store. Unfortunetely, no camera signs were plastered everywhere so I was unable to take a picture.
I now rue the day I became interested in anime and manga.

Note: I also realize that loli figures were also being sold.. Of super young girls with half their clothes missing… Almost reminds me of Chokotto Sister.

I bring you.. Bishounen Review!

Posted by Lenners on July 15th, 2006

That’s right, I’m going to review bishounen from now on. Perhaps I should judge them too, but that would be too complicated. For now, I’ll just talk about bishounen for now.

Any suggestions? I’m starting with Akatsuki from Aria.

Fate Stay Night Overview

Posted by Lenners on July 8th, 2006

I can’t say I’m disappointed in Fate Stay Night.. but I can’t say I’m overjoyed on how the series ended. In my opinion, a little more romance would have been fine, but this isn’t exactly a shoujo-y type of anime.

I was very unhappy when Archer died, I nearly stopped watching right there. But persistance and the other 12-ish episodes I downloaded were calling to me, so I had to finish the series. The series lagged a bit during the final 10 episodes, where I was so bored (and pressed for time) I had to skip the parts where the plot was very laggy.

The fights were interesting, the characters were great (I dislike Shirou, only because he’s such an idiot sometimes), and the ending… yay for no Emiya and Saber (Saber deserves someone better, like Archer =P)?

Time to find a new series to watch…

Swimming in Anime

Posted by Lenners on July 4th, 2006

My harddrive is overflowing with all my downloaded anime. I’m down to 6gb and I think my computer’s going to explode from overuse.

Currently, I’m reading Bitter Virgin(so darn sad), Fruits Basket(raws are so hard to get through) and watching The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi(Hilarious.) and Ouran Host Club(No words can describe this). There’s more, but these are my main series (who cares about Demonbane or Digimon Savers?).

I think I’d rather review manga chapters than anime now XD

Manga Review: Aqua

Posted by Lenners on May 11th, 2006

Volume 01 Cover Summary
Welcome to the world of Aqua, where Mars has terra-formed and become a planet covered with water. Akari has just arrived from Man Home(Earth) and trains to become an undine. She lives in Neo-Venezia, similar to Venice on Man Home. An undine is similar to a tour guide, one which can row a boat and point out attractions.
Working as an apprentice at Aria Company along with famous undine Alice and the president, President Aria, we follow Akari through the many pleasures in life to be discovered.

My Impression
Aqua, to me, is a wonderful series. I love the anime of it, and every chapter is like learning a new lesson about how beautiful life is. The art is cute, and the plot is amusing.

Spring Anime

Posted by Lenners on April 15th, 2006

For the new spring anime, I’ve decided to watch:

  • Aria the NATURAL
  • Nana
  • Ouran High School Club
  • xxxHolic

Not sure if I should watch anymore, but I’ll post randomly…

Welcome

Welcome to Tanoshii! Tanoshii means FUN in japanese, which is what I have when I watch anime. I’ve never really had an anime blog before, but I’ll try my best. I can only update at the most twice a day, seeing as my internet is on for a limited time.
